M1 & M2 steering wheel drive selector retrofit for F30 Sport.

Has anyone figured out how code and/or wire the F8x M1 & M2 steering wheel buttons to toggle between drive mods on an F30 spot?

Surprised a company like BMS for example hasn't created a kit. I can't imagine I'd be the only one interested.

Sent an email to Burger Motorsport inquiring if they would be interested in developing this retrofit product for us. I had an e90 and purchased their paddle shifter retrofit wire harness and the quality and instructions were top notch.

Figure if there is enough interest, maybe they'll consider developing it.

You can program them to whatever you want them to be. My M1 is set to city driving while my M2 button is set to maximum sportiness(max throttle response, suspension, and shift speed).

Obtaining the wiring diagram would be the first logical step.

The next challenge would be to wire Sport / Comfort selector near the gearshift to work with M1 / M2 buttons. Not an amateur effort.

I didn't see anyone successfully remapping those buttons on non-M cars DIY, but I know some Chinese dudes can remap those buttons to open and close the OEM exhaust valve.

I can't read Chinese so can't rlly give you much more info than this.
