How did this Tool get a Mclaren 675LT!?

I just watched this video on youtube of one of the most annoying people I've seen picking up his new 675LT

He appears to have the brain of a child, how did such a tool get the money to afford such a car!?

Is an incredible car though.

He looks and sounds like a public school boy so it is probably inherited but you never know.

If you read some background, he has setup and run a few businesses and made his money.

In the last month he also bought a Ferrari FF and Porsche GT4.

Fair play to him. Work hard, play hard.

He explains in one of his videos how he manages to be able to afford these things (and picking wisely negates a lot of deprecation, etc.). It is quite clearly not YouTube and Social Media - that certainly helps getting offered to go on all types of launches, and events.

He's more excited than an excited person can be excited about, none the less a nice looking car. I'd just keep it in my lounge for fear of others resenting such an obvious display of wealth and superiority.

I find myself feeling more like this as I get older! I used to be so certain that i'd drive round in a supercar if i won the lottery, but now I'm not so sure!

It is a sad indictment of modern British Society that many elements feel the need to attack and abuse those that have done well for themselves.

IMO one of the worst Human traits, a thief I can relate to, but a scumbag that defaces another mans car out of jealousy is a very low form of animal life.

You can't knock his taste in cars. And he obviously takes great pride in them and knows they are special!

I'm sure there are a few footballers out there that have similar cars and just take them for granted!

He's not a "tool" - he found a niche, developed his brand, worked hard and reaped the rewards.

I've quite liked some of his videos, he has his own excited kind of style.

He's just stoked on collection day I think which is exaggerating everything.

That a beautiful looking car. In estorill blue as well!!

Fair play to him. I'd have similar concerns about driving this or leaving it anywhere though as it would likely draw a lot of attention.

fantastic as part of a collection though and I would imagine a decent investment as well.

He is a tool, the evidence is in the video. Just because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and had a public school education that gave him the opportunity for his business ventures doesn't make him any better in my eyes.

What on earth has his education got to do with anything? You don't have to have a public school education to succeed???? He can come across as a little over enthusiastic but he's been smart, worked hard, made some money and bought some dream cars. He doesn't take them for granted and genuinely loves them. Surely that should be applauded?

Strikes me as a normal guy who has reached a dream he felt was ridiculously unachievable. Justifiably as giddy as a teenage girl in Justin bieber's dressing room.
I can't honestly say I wouldn't be as giddy..

...if I happened to find myself in Justin's dressing room.

Because that is quite obviously how he gained the skills to get where he is!

But he would have had no choice as to what type of education his parents provided for him, if he has used that education wisely and reaped the benefits then fair play to him. My only issue was if it was inherited wealth and from what I have read it was not.

We are all dealt our cards in this life and we play them the best we can.

I agree with this, although when I was working and faced with two similarly qualified candidates, one with state and one with fee-paying education, I would almost always choose the state-educated candidate. This wasn't inverted snobbery, just a recognition that the state-educated candidate was likely to be more intelligent and self-driven, to have achieved the same qualifications with less spoon-feeding.

I am not sure if I have any Public School educated people working in my companies, I must check that one out.

I certainly wouldn't have an issue with employing a Public School person though and I suspect they are less likely to refer to the Interviewer as 'Mate'
