Hi,

i have retrofitted a NBT Evo. Before i had a oem entrynav with tcb.

My f30 has the remote services booked. Can I still use them?
For example open and close the car with connected app?

Or is the tcb only working with head unit? But in thought the remote services like open/ close or horn can work without head unit.

NBT EVO works with the ATM system, not the TCB system.

Yes I know. But I thought the tcb can work with some services like open/close car, horn, etc alone without headunit.

Because the tcb has more connectors. Not only to the headunit.

What do you mean?

Additional info: my brother did the same in his F32 from 2016. he bought an NBT Evo and installed it. The Evo is not connected to tcb.
But the tcb still works alone. He can use the remote services for close/open car etc. Only the Navi Jobs like send address are not working, which is right, because it is not compatible.

But why will they not work in my car anymore?

Update: TCB is working now. I installed the old entrynav for a few seconds, started the connected drive services and the tcb started to work again.
After i swapped the entrynav and installed the nbt evo, the tcb was still working. The Remote Services like open/close car, horn, get position of car ist working without connection to hu.

How did you retrofitted the evo HU? using the TCB?

How do you feed the gps signal to the NBT evo?

Wow! That is great! Any updates? Is it still working? Does the remote air conditioning work?

Anyone managed to get this to work? I don't understand how he managed to get connected services to work by connecting the entry nav back and swap it with evo.
Im wonding if I need to connect the TCB to my EVO unit as I don't have GPS plug in the back of it..
