We shipped our B58 GC+ test unit only 2 days ago, and the tester wasted no time getting it installed, and put through its paces.

Details are
Built motor B58
VTT GC+ Turbocharger
F80 Paul Tune
BM3 Flash
Pump E85
EOS PI
One small methanol nozzle
Stock trans.

The results 850WHP 825 held to redline. Yes, this a dynocom, and I have my issues with dynocoms so I would like to get the car on a dynojet, but I will take what I can get for such a fast turnaround. For comparison, this same car, same specs with no PI but 100% E85, and much more methanol injection made a maximum of 647WHP with the XXXX 800 turbo he removed to put the unit on. Needs to say almost 200WHP delta on the same dyno tells a pretty serious story of the superior turbocharger. Keep in mind this is a very reasonably priced turbocharger (PM me for cost, can't post here by forum rules) with no core charges, and no oversized wheels stuffed into stock housings, so the better results were expected. Proper engineering provides proper results.

We expect to see 850WHP on this set up which is what it is rated at. They are going to do a couple more pulls when it cools down tonight. Stay tuned...

The result is excellent! But how will she go to 98Ron, what is her lag, how will the machine and all-wheel drive as a whole digest this moment? I understand this is 800+ NM. So far, these questions haunt many. We need road tests, and an understanding of what power and torque it will give on 98 / 102Ron and E30 / 40.

I have seen his drivshaft..I think 2-3 is gone.

What about us guys with xdrive ,if that thing get traction in first and second it will destroy the driveshaft immediately,not sure about trans ,some ideas for upgrade ,i want this thing also but dont want to destroy my whole drivetrain

Had the same question. If there is any incremental benefit to this turbo over GC if intention is to use pump only with an upgraded HPFP. Or are the limitations of octane hit well before the benefit of this turbo would kick in?

GC+ will make more power than the GC on 93 too. The whole system breaths easier, less back pressure = more power potential on the same octane.
