Launch Torque 30% Torque Scaling 15% But rpm are same 2,900rpm, same boost, Maybe is not well installed because I was waiting 3,500 ~ 3,900rpm launch as it says disconnect torque converter same as new Mercedes Benz. |

Bumping with a question.
I noticed on stage 3 in manual mode, downshifts are kind of harsh, even in comfort mode. Is this fixable with the "turn off hard shifts" setting? I went back to stage 2 and the downshifts are much nicer in manual mode.

Can I use the same OBD-USB cable (connected to laptop running Android VM) that I use to flash BM3 to also flash XHP? I've looked this up and I'm not sure why I can't find info on this. I know I can use the THOR WIFI dongle but don't see the need to spend money on it.

I recently installed stage 2 and it's really amazing. One thing I really dislike is that in manual mode in comfort the upshifts are ridiculously slow... downshifts are spot on but upshifts are...slow.
Everything else is great and I can't wait to pair it up with Big Boost turbo kit soon |

As for sport mode... it's really impressive. Shifts are super fast when upshifting and downshifting. Also to have the ability to hold gears it's useful ...for a premature trip to the tire shop. I have no idea as to why they've made the upshifting in comfort with manual mode so slow...slower than stock. I'll send them a video of it and hopefully they fix it but everything else is spot on... really, really impressive product. I'll test stage 3 soon. |

The slow shifts in comfort bothered me for a bit, but then I started to like it. You just have to adjust your shift timing to match, and get into the mindset that comfort mode is for just that: comfort. They may be slower shifts, but they're really smooth. I put it into sport mode when I want faster shifts. And sport+ is just insanely fast.

I thought the default transmission in sport manual does that at well. It won’t automatically upshift for you when hitting redline. It also disabled kickdown which means when you floor it, it won’t automatically downshift for you.

I'm getting a "xHp has stopped working" or "Cannot connect to you TCU" error message when attempting to flash. It's right after I connect to the car as it's asking me to choose my transmission.

I got it to connect and flashed Stage 3. I drove around a few miles to let it adapt. The throttle blips on downshifts are very nice but I'm not sure, as of right now, I can tell if there's a difference in upshift speed.
Also, I thought there was an option to alter shift speeds at the cost of comfort. I cannot find it anywhere. I only see "Custom Launch Control", "Alter Shift Points", Custom Torque limiter and something else I can't remember. Does anyone have this option? EDIT: Looking at the xHP documentation, it looks like altering shift speed option is not available for the 8-speed transmission.

Has anyone experimented with Custom Launch Control? What values did you set and how did it affect your launch? Any documented times?

I recently got the XHP flash and I'm not sure if it's related, but I just noticed that in Sport+ with the shifter in S Mode (auto sport) it won't change gears at any rpms. I have to shift myself (which puts me in Manual) otherwise it'll hit the redline.
Is this normal? In Sport or Comfort and S Mode it will shift auto and normally as it should.

I had some strange behavior in Sport+/S myself. The car did not downshift when I went into that mode. Went back to D, then back to S, then after a few seconds it downshifted.
Stage 3's "Full Send" mode might be buggy.

Hi there
I flashed mine to stage 3 before get it optimized. Been running that for a while and changed to stage 2 last weekend. Compared to stage 2 that is much smoother and nice and still fast. Stage 2 for me in the DD 😄
