Been reading threads about map versions, just checked my idrive 6 and it shows as Europe Evo 2018-2. On Connnected Drive website login it shows I have automatic updates active for UK and Ireland. Should my idrive have automatically updated by now or do I need to do something manually ? Website says I should get up to 4 automatic updates a year.

According to others, over the air updates seem to be flakey at best!

Your best bet is to go to the ConnectedDrive website and see what's available using the manual usb update. However, to do this you'll need to have a 64GB usb stick and it MUST be formatted to FAT32!

My car was manufactured at the end of August 2018, and was also delivered with Evo 2018-2 maps. I’m currently running 2018-4, which is currently the newest available to me via the Download Manager.

I’m not aware that it’s ever tried to automatically update, but my manual update may have stopped this.

All you can do is try it in NTSF. If it works, something has changed recently!
