Hey guys!

New to the forums! Have just had my f30 for just over 2 months now.

After the sad end of me Lancer Ralliart being written off it was time to purchase something different. After test driving lots of different contenders some Audi's a WRX and an A250 I definitely knew the 328 was for me.
Still a 4 cydliner turbo due to P's but I love the car! It's so smooth and effortless to drive and coming from a Lancer so much more refined!

Am seriously keen to start modding it! First steps definitely gonna be some wheels and an exhaust! I'm used to having loud cars so having something like is just plain weird!

What's everyone's thoughts
A. Muffler Delete
B. 335/340 Muffler (if anyone's selling one pleas let me know!)
C. Aftermarket Milltek system

Keen to get around for some cruises and stuff!

Best bang for buck is muffler delete, most shops will quote 80-100$. I did that then chose to go for a res delete as well, so now its 3'' piping from the cat to the back of the car. Full systems with conversion rates and shipping end up being too costly, (some systems costing around 5000$). I personally don't think it's worth it because the stock system with some modifications was good enough for me. As for the 335/340 systems other than looks I don't think the sound would change too much? From what I've seen like the 328i exhaust, the 35/40 back box is big. Anyways just my opinion haha, do some research on youtube if you're after sound clips

Hey. Not sure about muffler delete, never heard one in perso . But its cheap and if you dont like it you can always change.

I have a remus 335 muffler on mine. Sounds great. Has tone, burbles and pop but still not over the top. I have heard the remus 328i exhaust and definitely sounds different. Different i mean to quiet.

Anways welcome and enjoy modding.

I did muffler delete and it was a bit too loud for my liking since it also removes the standard valve control on the oem muffler.

I'd suggest a catless dp with res delete, if you still want more noise after this, open the valve manually or code it open. You will need a tune with the dp otherwise it throws a CEL (or you can get modules that remove the CEL if you don't want to go for a tune).

So finally got some mods happening!

Managed to pick up a 335 Exhaust off a member here and fit it up along with a m performance diffuser!

Made a huge difference to the rear look but also created along some nice pops and crackles which are 😍!!

Hey man! I think i see that liberty? northern suburbs? if you are keen for a meet up!

I have a milltek turbo back, I love it! crazy loud during cold starts tho but when its warmed up its all good. just there when you want the sound to be there!

I guess we have the same progression on vehicles! I came from a Evo X to JEEP to 328i.

Some updates...

So first picked up a JB Stage 1 for it! Install was super simple and mounted it nicely with easy access for removal when it comes time to take the car into service!
Wow did it make a difference - mid range pull is so much stronger in every mode especially sport! No change to fuel economy either which is a huge bonus! Overall super happy with the result for now!
Potential future power mods to come but only time and my tax return will tell 😂

Then came some cosmetic changes.

It all started with just simple black kidney grills, and then came a huge change I've always wanted to do! Change up the wheel setup just to stand out from the crowd a bit! Then the struggle of choosing which design I wanted took weeks to figure out!
A mate of reached out as the company he works for was launching a new set of wheels and he managed to set me up with a trial/demo set!
So in came a set of ROH RF4 in 19x8.5 +40 and 19x9.5 +40! They fit awesome! And are slightly lighter than the stock 403m wheels aswell as a bonus!
And to top it all off a MSport front lip to tie it all together!

Overall super happy with how the cars come out love it and love the way it looks 😍😍
So for now it's completed! But it's a never ending cycle 😂

Thank mate appreciate it!

Still had about 50% tread left on my Continental SportContact 5 runflats :/ ... but will most likely be moving to the pilot sport 4 in a 235 265 setup once the tax return comes thru!
