Trouble coding battery with Autel Maxisys Ultra (2018 340i xDrive)

Hi everybody, first post here, tell me if I do something wrong

So I was trying to code an 80Ah battery instead of an 90Ah battery on a 2018 340i xDrive with my Maxisys Ultra, looking in the RETROFIT menu, thinking I would find all the options there but they weren't (the way it was with E90).
Scanner was up to date, everything seemed ok

I am new to any kind of programming so I tried many different menu and, beginners mistake, ended up retrofitting a power option (HO-WORT: NPOW) trying to see if the battery options where there (I will do a second post for the 1F2102 and limp mode triggered by this and how I fixed it if people are interested?).

I finally found the good menu (by selecting NEW ENTRY in the PROGRAMMING menu, which I previously selected only to access the RETROFIT menu at first) and changed E-WORT code from "A090" to "A080". thinking I found the good procedure.

I then went and registered the battery but here is my problem:
---> The registration now indicate that the car is supposed to be equiped with an 80Ah battery (thanks to changing the E-WORT code) but that the DME registered battery is 90Ah. I can't find how to change it to 80Ah and I am worried that it is still going to overcharge the battery.

Thanks

You can try coding the ca and dme module.

Does the E-WORT data repeat itself in the DME module? So I would need to change it at both places? Or I need to find a different line? Is it also going to be "A090", "A080", etc?

Should I have not changed E-WORT and change it only in the DME?

Thanks

I figured it was something like that Thanks for the info, I will not forget this one!
My temporary issue with it is that when I retrofitted it back to normal, it stayed in limp mode, triggering 1F2102.
I only needed to re-program (or is it "update"?) the DME to clear it but it lasted long enough to give me a good scare

The coding is in the FEM, DME isnt affected but it will still show the battery capacity in the battery registration.
