Wow this is very impressive! Is it possible to get another set of these adapter brackets made for the same front set-up? I have a set f10 M5 Calipers and was going to go with the TRONIK ones but his communication is awful, so I can't imagine there being any type of after sales service if there were an issue.

Also any development on the rear brakes to run 4 pots?

To confirm, this is a pair of F10 M5 6 pot calipers fitted onto F3x chassis with a custom radial bracket. Pads are genuine BMW M5 items, and the discs are M2 Competition 400mm.

Pedal feel is fine, and the brakes have only done 150 miles so far, so are still being bedded in, but initial feel is very good.

No updates for the rear yet - but I’ll get some made at some point. I have the parts sat here, but I’ve not been particularly rushed to get them on as the braking set up as it stands is absolutely awesome!

Brackets are available from Vagbremtechnic, who was the company that made them.

Got my VS-5RS delivered this week. Ordered via Tegiwa as they are the UK distributors for APEX, but still got great customer service from APEX directly with all my questions and queries.

Specs are 19x9 ET30 and 19x10 ET40 - so essentially the same as my current 437m’s. I’ll be switching my tyres across too, so I’ll be running these with 245/35 and 265/35 MPS4s.

Quality seems great, they are very light and the finish is really good. I think I’ll be going with BMW floating centres for a more OEM+ finish.

Concavity seems much better in person that photos show, I’d say that they are as deep as 437m’s if not a little deeper!

Been a while since I’ve posted any updates, but I took trip down to Vagbremtechnic today, to get some progress made on my custom rear big brake set up.

This kit will consist of the M2 4 piston 2NH brake calipers with the 380x30mm M2 2NH discs.

The custom brackets are now signed off and next job is to get the calipers painted up in Porsche speed yellow.

I have, yes!

However I haven’t ever looked into it, they’d have to be of OEM quality and not the incorrect font knock offs you see on eBay!

Agree; I was tempted with their 18x9 ARC-8 set for my previous Japanese import E39 530i Touring and then my Japanese import E30 540i saloon, but never got round to ordering them...

I love the FL-5s they do as well
