While I don't believe it should be free any beta testing should be heavily discounted to compensate the user for their time and risk taken. |

I am in on the MHD Beta test, just got my cable yesterday. Flashed the latest beta stage 2 map and did my logging. 94 Oct with catless DP. I cant compare vs any other B58 tune, but man I am ever impressed with the power. Pulls great and butt dyno says it doesnt drop off much to redline like stock does.

Another Beta tester here. And as with the others, I am very happy with the tune. No issues experienced. As have been mentioned, the beta testing is more to smooth out curves and just have more statistical data.
Once it is released to all, I doubt anyone will be disappointed. Running Stage 1 at moment, but will up it to stage 2 once I get my DP on. |

Good vibes then. I'm on the BEF. It needs some adjustment my AFR was hitting high 11's to low 12's in some of my logs LOL. Burble settings are fun to play with, but other then that it's not to brag about quite yet.

BEF + meth + JB4 + E40/E50 blend is going to be the killer combo... I have that gut feeling. |

There is 91, 93, and 95 octane tunes and stage 2 E30 tune. I have tried the E30 tune for fun and it’s great! I’m back to the BEF I’m making good progress with Terry using a E40/E50 blend with meth.

MHD has the B58 tune up on their website. No official release that I have heard of, yet.
Stage 1, Stage 2 and E30 tunes available OTS. Stage 2's only requirement is high-flow downpipe. No Stage 2+ with intercooler and downpipe. They claim to be incorporating a sport cooling mode that optimizes the cooling for better air intake temperature on the B58 water to air intercooler. Would like to know more about this sport cooling mode. |

hi, i'm a total newbie and never done any kind of tuning on my car before.
Is this mod literally plug and play? no requirement for me to do Any other internal mods to the engine for a reliable stage 1 tune? i know reliability cannot be guaranteed - my car currently on 29k miles, has been maintained so far exactly as per service schedule + i do oil changes at 10k intervals instead. my B58 could run stage 1 tune reliably for next 5 years with no issue? or would the extra stress on engine inevitably lead to higher maintenance or some kind of rebuild sooner than a stock engine would? obviously i know this is dependent on driving too - i don't track my car, and to be honest i barely use any revs. What i'm really looking for is simply more pull between 40-80mph, that is all (reliably). |

Ive try it beacuse of extra cooling option b58 540i g30
-- i set it to performance should keep 95C, it keep it but sometimes stuck in 85C or 95C in sport/sport+. Sometimes works fine. Its not as perfect as it should be. The comfort/adaptive keep solid 95C. Sport/sport+ sometimes stay for longer in 95C or goes in to 85C mode and stay there until I turn off/on engine Oem setting only drop coolant temp with all way down foot or half way and goes back to 106C. - burbles + armytrix ehaust I noticed tips was getting wet on 1s + soft in sport. Lowered it to oem style + 0.5S ehaust tips stays dry and clean i burble settings. Its not that fancy like 1s + soft in my armytrix. Will try later soft+ 0.5S. The exhaust still itself gives some burbles anyway. -- cold start bypass, it does still pump higher and drop lower RPM within a 1s. Doesnt start engine straight in to low RPM. - speed limiter removal works like a charm - stage 1 map ron 102 /95 octane. We have in uk 97-99octane fuels.. claimed 420bhp (had mine pusched to 500 before). To be honest for town use feels enough. Its not that aggressive. Stage 2 i bought it but I havent tested yet. I want to make sure all is right with extra options. |

any idea if stage 2 can be used on stock 540i with cat back exhaust and no gasoilne particulate filter?
how much individual maps cost with MHD? generally i don't undrestand the pricing on their website as they put one to one dollar and euro which is not really the same?
