Injen Evolution intake??
Hello all.
I’m thinking about grabbing a closed intake, but nothing too expensive. The Injen evolution for gen 1 b58 has been looking good, especially around that $300 mark. Does anyone have any reviews or sound clips? Literally none on YouTube. Thanks!! Also, any other closed box intakes that would work well on a stg 2+ car, I’m all ears. I’m running the stock intake at the moment, and thought I would want a bit more sound. |

Injen makes quality intakes, we sold a lot of the B58 EVO , never had an issue.

if you want sound, you need to buy open air intake (or closed intake but with thin aluminum heat shield like MST). injen evo plastic is thick, that's why no sound. |

If you are looking for a loud intake, check out the MAD intake. its open, with a heatshield and uses high-flow filters.

Oh dang, I forgot about them! I’ll look into it. Decent sound, good price, and maybe even a performance benefit is something I’ve been looking for.

Honestly I haven't got one. Cannot really hear it, but I put the vellosatech ram air scoop on and I can hear the intake more now. It's very mild.

I dont mind if its subtle, as long as i would be able to hear it when accelerating with the windows down I looked up videos for the air scoop seems like a good idea but im not looking for the deep breathing sound, im looking for more of the hissing turbo spool sound under acceleration. I have seen some good videos but they wont share their setup. I know the eventuri cold air intake has a great sound which im looking for but way too expensive. Does the injen intake alone have that hissing turbo sound when accelerating? Or does it have the deep breathing sound when you let go of the gas? Thanks |

We have two options
Our airbox design which is not fully sealed so you still get the sound and if you want more sound you could always leave the lid off. https://mad-us.com/mad-bmw-f3x-b58-m...w-heat-shield/ Larger tubing performance intake with no shields. This will be the louder of the two. https://mad-us.com/mad-b58-intake-in...0-240-340-440/
