That's the bass knob for my JL amp for the Focal sub. The big remote is for my Match amp that replaced my stock one.

Are you running a separate sub in the boot or just swapped the underseat woofers out there the only speakers I have left that are stock

Underseats replaced w Bavsound
Stock amp replaced w PP86DSP w Helix URC.3 remote
Additional JL 600v2 amp w JL remote
Focal 20F 8" in vert and 25F 10" in wagon w custom enclosures

The F31 was sourced from a company Basser in Poland and the F23 came from Murray at Visual Ice in UK.

That was the goal! Convertible especially the box fits in a bump out dead spot that's completely useless now the back of the seat is just flat all across.

I started with ideal box the worked backwards to find the best speaker I could buy that was right for that size volume etc.

How do they sound? Loud enough to notice a nice difference? I thought about the Visual Ice box for my 328 sedan. Just wasnt sure the bass would make it to the cabin very well.

I remember back in the day, the best setup was subs forward and sealed off, but no way i am doing that in either of my cars.

They sound great. The 8" especially in the vert was a huge impact and surprising. It's small and when the top is down you've got what 100lbs I'd highly insulated fabric right on top of the small speaker? Big impact though. The wagon sounds great but that wasn't as surprising as the convertible.

Visual Ice does a great job he's a good dude too.

Looks great but there's no trunk space left if you're going on a trip with more people in the car where do you fit the luggage?

I just put whatever on top of the amps there not really fragile so that area can still be used but there not the most expensive amps so don't cope well when there not getting adequate air as they get really hot especially running at 2 ohms

today I went ahead soundproof the trunk as well as the doors made the world of a difference from outside the car hardly any rattles now even from the gas cap I've not laid it neatly but you can't see it anyway so who cares just making this budget build even better I compared mine to a HK sound f30 and mine completey makes the hk sound weak less than 350£ and what a upgrade

Chances are an even smaller box that's sealed will work just as well, if not better. This may help explain why:

Interesting I'll probably experiment with a sealed box
