How to apply Hydrosilex?

Hey guys, I'm new to ceramic and looking into trying this out? Anyone know how long the hydrosilex recharge lasts?

Also how different is the process? I still need to do full paint correction before correct? Meaning clay, swirl remove, polish, sealant, ceramic in that order omitting the wax?

The "bad" news is, in order for any coating to work properly a full and complete paint correction is needed.
That being said, my standards surpass all but the most OCD detailers. It is more my hobby, and I spend far too much time and money on finish and detailing. Years ago I took first place in every car show I entered, so I have a long history of "wax on wax off"

I tried it. Easy enough to apply but I don't know how strong it is vs a true ceramic coating (I don't think it is). It seems to wash off pretty easy.

ZHP076 is spot on when he says a full paint correction is needed. If you don't do that surface imperfections will be sealed in and there is a strong possibility that when you apply the ceramic sealant before you do the correction you will breakdown the imperfection into smaller pieces and those will rub into the substrate potentially causing scratches. I take my Porsche to a professional service in Seattle. They literally spend 5-6 hours correcting the surface and when that is perfect they move onto the next step of ceramic application. its 99.9% first step correction that will allow the ceramic coat to fully seal and give you a dazzling finish. Good luck.
