B58 downpipe install

Hello! hope all is well, quick question in regards to installing a catless downpipe on my 340. I was considering getting a VRSF downpipe however I have not found any decent DIY for the b58 install.

My question is has anyone found any decent install videos\guides or is the N55 close enough to use as reference. I installed the downpipe myself on my old F56S mini cooper and it was an absolute bear.

Any help / advice would be much appreciated! Thanks! Also my 340 is an Xdrive.

This install is alot easier on a b58 then n55 with xdrive. Me and two friends were able to do it in an afternoon in my garage. If I remember you have to take the airbox out and obviously the panel plate underneath. Then disconnect the sensors and the clamps at top and bottom. One thing we had to do was use a pipe expander to fit the bottom of downpipe into midpipe. You can get them at any hardware store. Other then that it wasnt too bad.

It’s easy. No need to remove the under cover. Biggest thing is allowing car enough time to cool off. Best to do first thing in the morning.
