Who has ftp intake and injen kit

Hi. Just wondering who on here has the ftp (or any upgrade intake pipe) with an injen kit on a n20? Without an upgraded Gfb dv+ installed

Do you get fluttering sound?

I have the FTP inlet pipe and Injen intake and haven't noticed any flutter. But then again I usually have my music up pretty high and probably wouldn't even notice

Oh. With no GFB Dv+?

If you plan to get one let me know outcome. Am tempted to remove it or the spring inside remove the flutter on lift off

I have an Injen intake and ER charge pipes, no GFP valve. I get no flutter at all.

Cheers Jake. Just found another post in here. Apparently the flutter is normal coming from the spring on the DV+. Behaves the same as described in that thread.

Edit: jake you are in that thread as installing the GFB. Did you remove it?

I did yes. I had the flutter with the GFP and I didn't want to risk anything happening (even if it was normal) so I purchased a new OEM diverter valve. I might actually go back to the stock intake and sell my Injen intake or have someone give me their oem intake + cash. I'll be commuting a lot so I want to make maintenance easier and make the car more efficient.

Intake should be ok even on commutes.

Am in 2 minds to keep it on as not sure about the noise.
