Guess the route / meeting point would depend on who is coming and from where, so if those coming can add their location it would help.

I'm in Swaffham but any start / meet point is fine for me.
I am good with a Saturday from 26th onwards..... and I have no idea on my route but according to waze will be going up the A11 to Norwich, round Norwich and then a straight line to Cromer....
Just thinking, if we head westwards, towards Kings Lynn. Depending on your location might work nicely.

Pop in for a coffee and chat with Lorcan at ACS Dersingham. 🤪

Did he stop people at the bridge and take money for crossing??

I didnt live there, just visiting the industrial estate - a food production factory.... The A17 from Newark was always a fun / scary road....

My mistake, it was Long Sutton up the road, not Sutton Bridge. He lived there under the name John Palmer, he was a horse thief at the time. He got into highway robbery later.

Norwich here - as an aside, the owners of Route 66 (A11) are complete petrol heads - they like to see enthusiasts...

I used to stay there some times - we also had a factory near Holbeach somewhere in the wilderness.... made pizzas. They were highway robbery!

So what are we thinking about date and location.... to get max attendance. Shall we say the 26th September?

Guess not if we are more that 6 given the current social distancing measures.

If we are less than 6 it's fine with me. Time and meet location?

I think it was only 4 of us that had posed some interest. Flexible with time and location and open to suggestions.

Doesn't seem to be a lot interest gents. The weather also is pretty horrendous today and tomorrow. Countless trees are down on the roads.

I think it might be wise to default to another Saturday with hopefully a better weather outlook?

Good morning all , hope lockdown is going ok for the most. I must admit, for me who has travelled as part of my job for the last 15yr, being stuck working at home, with the kids and wife 24/7 has thrown more than a few challenges and heated conversation to say the least.

Sure we are all looking forward to some sort of easing in the weeks months ahead.

With that in mind, i must admit dying to get out in the car to a bit of a drive. So thought, as we never got around to scheduling this meet, thought it might be worth re igniting the post to perhaps have something to chat about and look forward to, of course restrictions permitting.

Welcome your thoughts 💭

Agreed, would welcome a meet up when we can...interested to look at those rear arches you must have by now

Fortunately my work means I do have to travel and having some reasonable drives. Looking after mother in law is also a weekly visit your way, which is great as the holibobs aren't allowed yet

Lets see what happens, but we could have a plan in place anyway?

I'd be up for venturing out.
I've been working from home since March last year. Luckily the kids go to their childcare bubble and my wife has to go into the office. But, staring at the same four walls gets inside your head.
