I just changed spark plugs for my 320i 2017 these are the old plugs with 40000 miles . Why there is this orange thing on the bottom of each plug ?? And these plugs considered horrible ?

They look like they were sparking well with the grey colour on the tip. The brown on the ceramic is normal on older ngk plugs that were replaced. My friends NGK plugs were the same when her replaced them.

That orange color of the ceramic is leakage in the spark from the top, it is totally normal and if you want to avoid it it is best to use dielectric grease on the part of the ceramic of the spark plug that makes contact with the rubber of the ignition coil. This way there will not be that energy leakage besides that it will be easier for you to replace it the next time.
