Interior wrapping ideas

Hey guys, I have an alpine white sportline F30 (red accents in the interior) with the piano black trim, and im looking to switch it up and wrap all of the gloss black in the interior in a color to compliment the red accents. My first thought was gloss black carbon fiber, like everyone else, but then I came across a white carbon fiber vinyl and was wondering if anyone has done any white carbon fiber wrap on their interior? Also, has anyone done anything else that may look good? Remember, the car is alpine white! Open to any and all suggestions! May even look into a suede wrap! Thanks!

I'd say it would be better than anything dark. I don't know what it is about the German mindset of making the interior so dark that getting into the car is like walking into a cave, but I don't care for it. I wrapped all of my wood trim to brighten it up from the original scheme that only Nietzsche or Wagner could love.

Brushed graphite or a steel look would be nice or even just brushed aluminum to match the steering wheel and shifter. I did a brushed steel on my e90 and loved it. Alternatively you could look to swap trims with someone who may want piano black

I ordered a 3m 1080 Brushed metallic black and a 3m 1080 carbon fiber sample, and also ordered an off brand forged carbon sample. Any other ideas? Thanks for the idea billfitz, I didn't realize samples were so cheap!

I do think Ive decided to keep it relatively dark though.

In my opinion, carbon fiber would look pretty dope. I plan on wrapping mine in gloss carbon as well this season. I have a white F30, with gloss black exterior accents (lip, spoiler, window trim, etc.). The glossy carbon would make the interior pop since a lot of the interior is plastic and it would pretty much match the glossy exterior, which is what I'm going for.

I've also thought of some sort black-ish midnight galaxy wrap, but not quite certain yet.

I have 50/50 carbon fiber and gloss black exterior parts so I'm not too particular. I may do the carbon, but so many people do it that I feel like I should make an effort to NOT do carbon. But, we shall see. Samples should be here this weekend

Hello, so now that my three samples have come in, I need help deciding. Everybody and their brother uses carbon fiber, so that is not my first pick although it looks very nice. The brushed steel looks very clean and very classy, but doesn't fit the theme of my car as a whole very well. The forged carbon only looks good in certain lighting and certain angles, but when it hits right, its killer.... so heres some photos at various spots of my interior for you guys to use as reference and let me know what you guys think!

The CF and brushed steel both look good, the forged carbon looks dirty. I wouldn't use any of them myself, IMO black BMW interiors need some color.

With the red strip Im unsure of what colors or patterns with color I could use that would look okay. I agree that the interior is quite dark though, Im very thankful for my red accents!

I still say out of your 3 options, the carbon would look quite decent. But if you want something totally different than what everyone else uses (carbon), then reconsider your choices. With your red accents, that carbon would match pretty nicely.

Man, I REALLY love the carbon but I figured I'd try to be different first. I may end up going with the carbon anyway though. I think I have weeded out the forged carbon though, it had too much of a glare/ reflection to it so you couldn't even see the pattern at certain angles.
