Super power mistery cable box inside engine
Hi! On the right of the N20 engine in my car there is a total cables mess. I saw in RealOEM the part number of a Cover 12528616568. Anyone have this mistery box inside his car? Can kindly make some photos under this cover to see the difference? I believe this little cover can make some protection to my cables because some of them are peeling with the time, the weather and some other enemy of the car. Thanks to all can help me

I tried installing it, but I do not understand how it is supposed to go on. It does not seem to fit the space and there's no hardware to attach it to. It says that it is for a 2 series, but it has the same part number as the one you listed. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it |

According to realoem the same cover fits F20,21,22,23,30,31,32,33,34 and 36. How it installs I can't say. If it's like most of the covers it probably snaps into place, although how it does so probably isn't obvious.

I already found the part in local demolition for free. I'm searching a pic under the cover because doesn't fits. I think because the wires have hardened and remain in the position they are. Any help is appreciate.

Sorry if I insist but i can't apply this cover, I also tried with a screw to make a new hole with worstest results. Anyone with a good hearth can take shot like these? I can't sleep at night

I am in the same boat as you. I really do not understand how this part is supposed to go on. That bundle of wires gets in the way and does not let it be mounted.

I just removed mine and then put it back on without any effort at all. If the wires have moved away from their normal position pull them back into place with some plastic zip ties. Don't try to put the cover in place with the retaining screw in place. Remove the screw, insert a T15 torx driver through the screw hole in the cover and into the hole where the screw goes to act as a guide that will align the cover in the correct position, then insert and drive the screw.

I found the issue. There's a difference in the number 2 item reported on realOEM as Multi-functional switch item n. 12907604347. In the car without cover missing 2 studs that take it in place. Ordered that part and i will make a photo report when replacing.
