Is there an on site “How to check “ your cars spec

I would be interested to see all the options my car has fitted.

For this I believe the best thing to do is google bmw vin decoder and use the on from top of the results. Input last 7 digits from you vin number and it will show you all the options standard and extras that you car have.

Then spend the next 10 minutes googling what all those codes and German words mean, excited you may have some undiscovered gadget... only for the realisation that 'Thiefproofing device' just refers to deadlocking doors, or something similarly boring 😂

My god. If there ever was anything that made no sense a quick copy and paste into Google would sort everything out for me. Don't make it more complicated than it really is

I was hopeful that there was a link to a free spec list but not so. My other car is also German made and the UK forum has a link that shows your cars complete spec and in English.

Try a few VIN decoders just from Google searching, I'm sure they still exist.
