All these threads are great. (New Member )
I did this for my former Covid downed business. Had a few charities involved to have wraps added, etc. Posting because this is retiring within 6 to 9 months. The tires are Hankook's. Corner's great. The logo was added took a total of 4 hrs for the guys at the tire shop to place correctly, sand the rubber, test mount, etc. |

Looks nice! What tire size did you go for? I know that's a tough decision when getting 437ms. Plans on lowering it?

So, my wheels finally came in!
Wheels: Apex Arc8 18x9 ET30 (squared setup) Tires: Yokohama A052 255/35-18 The car is primarily used for daily driving but will see 3-5 track days a year. I wanted a setup that is GREAT for both duties. I got heavily into the motorcycle scene and did some club racing. Recently sold my motorcycles (don't worry, I'll be back) so I needed something else to have fun with. Only about 80 miles so far on the wheels and tires, but I have a good feeling about the Yokohama A052s. Here is a comparison of my OEM wheels to the Apex wheels: The OEM wheel is the front wheel (225/40-19) that weighs in at 50.9lbs while the Apex wheel weighs at 42.5lbs. I also weighed the OEM rear wheel (255/35-19) which was 55.6lbs. Big difference in weight savings. The car is currently on M-Sport adaptive suspension, but hopefully that will change soon if I can find some KW or Bilstein in stock. Here are pictures of the car when I got it off the lift: It's really nice having 2 in ground lifts at work Here are pictures of the car this morning after putting some miles on the new wheels and tires: Overall, very happy with the setup! Just for reference, here's my old E46 M3. What can I say, I have a thing for silver BMWs with Arc8 wheels |
