I took my car to RMP Motors. They did a great job on my brakes, and gave me a great price as well.

I'd give them a call if I were you.

+1 for RMP

Didn't do my brakes, but had a great experience with them when they installed my springs.

What work do you need done and where do you live? RMP has a good rep but might be a bit pricier, especially if it's just easy work you need done.

RMP gave me a fantastic price for parts and labour on my brakes. It came out to a fraction of what the dealerships locally quoted me. There might be slightly cheaper alternatives if you dig into them enough, but at least with RMP, quality is a guarantee.

Any of these http://www.bmwtn.ca/2018-sponsorships?cat=172 would be fine, they're all sponsors of TN and highly recommended by many members of the group.

However, I personally go to RMP.

Hey, do you mind giving me a ball park range of how much they've charged you?

RMP has quoted me $400 to install M Sport Brake kit on the F15, which is a steal in my opinion.

There are other shops that can do it for less. Mine were done for $285 for example. Another shop quoted me $190 as well.

Another reputable shop quoted me $550 and stealership quoted US$1300.

It's the brakes in the end, I'm not going just anywhere who will give the lowest price.

Agreed. But there's really not that much to it, we're not talking about rebuilding the engine, it's calipers, rotors and pads. As long as they're doing it properly, it'll be fine. In my case I was standing in the shop with him the entire time he was doing it.

Is it possible to buy your own parts and just charge for labor?

What kind of brake job do you need? Just changing pads because they worn out or upgrading your entire braking system? For me, I do pad/rotor myself. Too damn expensive to pay for labor when i can do it better and more carefully myself
