Tire/Size Help

Greetings fellow forum members. I'm looking to finally get a set of wheels for my '14 Estoril Blue 335i and am strongly leaning towards the Carbon Graphite Vorsteiner 19" VFF-103's. I've been searching the forum here a bit and it seems like most of the post are a couple few years old. I'm looking for actual experiences (pics too PLEASE) with these 19" wheels and what tire sizes I could go with and what I should avoid. My car is on the stock suspension for now, I may go coil over but do not intend to lower it at all due to road conditions here in Michigan. It looks like the recommended size is 245/35 for the front and 275/30 for the rear. Has anyone had any issues with these sizes and can you go any bigger on the rear? I have Nitto 555's on my stock wheels right now and love 'em. However I may need to vary sizes to keep this same tire for the new wheels or go with an entirely different brand tire completely which I don't really want to do. Thanks in advance!

How wide is the wheels? My friend runs smaller tires than that...close to stock.

Wheels are 8.5" up front and 10" rear. My understanding is that those tire sizes on 19" wheels are the same rotational diameter as stock.

oem diameter is 26".

245/35/19, 275/30/19 are 25.8" and 25.5". it's somewhat of a reverse rake staggered diameter set up, but it'll work. if you want the largest contact patch on 8.5" & 10", i'd probably do 285/30/19(25.7") at the rear instead.

since you are not planning on lowering, personally, i'd go slightly taller than oem to reduce wheel gap by using 235/40/19(26.4") and 265/35/19(26.3"). more sidewall will provide more protection and a better ride.

Thank you! This is exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Do you have personal experience with these sizes on this chassis?

We need to know the offsets as well. If the offset is too low then the tire will be past the fender and won't look good.

I believe it's 35 front 40 back.

I do not have personal experience with this particularly. While you are awaiting responses from people that do, you may also inform yourself by searching through the numerous posts and threads here. Info I convey is from the knowledge I have gained here , elsewhere and other personal experience.

Yeah I hear ya. Did some digging on this particular wheel and fitment and found most posts to be from '12-'14 with people in the same boat I'm in now. Not many pics or follow ups though.

et30 front means you probably want a 235, but you can fit a 275 in the rear at et45.
