Bootmod3 Gas/Map Question

Just got my BM3 licence and torn between which map to run...

Anyone in Toronto running BM3?
Where do you get your gas and which version of map do you run, 91 or 93 octane? I usually run Shell V-Power(91) as it has no ethanol but is ethanol really that bad? Is it worth going to Petro or Esso for the 93 map or should I just stick with Shell vpower?

Run 93ots and use Petro 94.

I visit Toronto and Montreal every summer and Petro 94 gives the best timing. Never use 91 for 93 tune.

Damn nice mods!

Thanks for your input, I just wanted to see what everybody's using in Toronto, just not sure if I should stay with Shell 91 vs going with a 94 ethanol blend. I would definitely use the right octane to match the tune once I've decided.

Yeah, normally I would always use Petro 94 when available, I use shell 91 only when there is no 93/94 octane. I even go out of my way by stopping at a petro canada with 94 oct on the way to toronto from montreal.

For what it's worth I've had good experience with Shell 91 as well as Petro 94 in western Canada, but power is noticeably stronger on 94 with the 93 tune. Logs look just as good on each with their respective tunes.

Thanks guys! This helps out a lot.

For the first time ever, I just ran the tank past 1/4(usually like to stay above 1/4 tank to keep the HPFP cool) all the way down to 10 kms left and filled her up with Petro 94 to keep my options open but I think I'm leaning towards the 93 map now. I may just try M2 map tonight and wait until I install the NGK 97506's before going to 93, just one more day in transit until new plugs arrive...

Thanks!

Clubplug.ca has the cheapest prices but takes a week to arrive, if you need right away, Napa has them for $23-24 bucks each and I think there's 15% discount until July 31st.
