SE to M Sport gear knob swap. Price and gaiter questions

Looking to buy an M Sport knob for my SE (manual).

It looks like I can get the knob and gaiter from eBay (UK) for £120. However, the same knob for e90 and e46 is half that price, without a gaiter.

Can the gaiter be removed and still be usable for a new knob or do you really need the F30 one?

Also does anyone know the UK BMW price for this part? Looking at the shipping time I take it the seller is probably ordering it from BMW on demand.

For anyone wondering.... It was £107 at the dealers so the eBay guys have put a finders fee on.. And it's available next day so I've ordered.

I was looking at exactly the same thing. Do you have the part number please as I would rather buy new at a dealer and know its a genuine part correct for my car.
