JB4 and BM3 help

Someone told me that if I run BM3 and JB4 at the same time it's good so that I can control boost and make more power, any thing to worry about ?

I would post this on N54Tech and get help from the actual JB4 crew.

I think your referring to the JB4 stacked with a BM3 back end flash. JB4 is basically just a boost controller and good for on the fly map changes (at least in my e series n55). Then the backend controls other DME parameters

I didn't even know BM3 made back end flashes.

I'm not 100% positive on that. I know MHD provides back end flashes as I had one on my N55. Because full flashing has just been released for the B58, it might be a little bit till there's some backend flashes available

Yes you can run the JB4 with BM3 or MHD. BMS also posts free flash maps that can be loaded via either one. This thread has most of the MHD info but BM3 works the same way only using BM3 to load the maps instead.

Also you can buy BM3 or MHD stand alone maps then use the JB4 to fine tune on top of those if you want. I'd start with the free BMS maps though.
