Looks like it’s putting out a lot more than the claimed 335bhp!

Oh and has Charlie from SRR lost weight!?

An extra 40bhp is a healthy dollop of 'free' power. Wonder how consistent the extra is across a larger sample size or if that's right at the top end?

Local dealers car is in early next month. Popping in for a look. Looks like first UK deliveries held back till 1/9 onwards by Toyota. Still a lovely looking coupe to my eyes.

I was at the dealers today they had a lovely M5 in stock and a gorgeous demo mileage 840d with a carbon roof for 60k, that car really does look great in the flesh, loads of X5's as well they are doing a deal at £599 per month with the tech and M sport+ pack included on the 30d but it's a heavy car for only 265hp.

which dealer...?

the trouble with demo cars is the finance costs... although Clydesdale may be able to sort that but they are more cautious on residuals...

The demo 840d is at Lloyd Colne, looks very natty with the carbon roof.

link below (but looks much better in the flesh).

The AUC APR is stupid but I know there are providers who will do 5.9% if not 4.9%. Looks like the spec was about 88k I think it would be better starting with a 5 on the purchase price though as it's done 5k miles.

Cheers. £850 a month on their terms if I equalise deposit and mileage to the same as my current car.... residuals not great to add to high interest rate....

Yeah it would be madness on their APR, but getting a provider to 5 or 6% and knocking a couple of grand off should put you in line with your budget.

Now if only that was true of the 850i one, I would then overlook the back end....

For me in the flesh the design works, I'd love that one I linked too and I've walked around it twice now, pictures don't do them any favours for some reason.

But I'm not sure the 40d engine has enough punch to match the looks as you say the 50i would be better.
