Will this 19 in. Set up work?

Found a pretty good deal on a set of VMR wheels on Facebook marketplace.

Just wondering if it will fit my stock f30. I'm not currently on lowering springs. The wheels are from an 08 335.

Front: 19x8.5 et 40 tires - 235/35

Rear: 19x9.5 et 33 tires - 265/30

Thanks!

will it fit, yes. however...

imo, it won't look good and you'll worsen your handling by increasing understeer. oem diameter is 26". the tire sizes on those rims are 25.5" and 25.3". whatever wheel gap you have with your oem wheels will increase .25" up front and .35" in the rear. the front offset will cause more tuck(and gap) while the rear will be poking slightly. when you reduce or have the front track less wide than the rear, it also increases understeer, adding to the understeer caused by staggered widths. your speedometer will error higher and you'll accrue more mileage than actual. it's very slight and maybe you won't notice but the math doesn't lie.

if none of these things bother you, have at it. if you lower it and run a 10-12.5mm spacer up front it'll look and handle better.

personally, i'd rather spend money wisely on better fitment.

if you want to do staggered i'd run, 19x8.5 +(30-35) 235/40/19 front, 19x9.5 +(40-45) 265/35/19, or 245/35/19 front, 255/35/19 rear if you need ultra high performance all season with light snow, for minnesota.

for square setup, 19x8.5 +35ish with 235/40/19 or 245/35/19 or 255/35/19, summer or ultra high perfromance all season.

As mentioned above, the front will sit inside the fender a bit while the rear will be on the aggressive side. I'd probably go with 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear tires to help clear in the rear and to keep your xDrive system happy. The 235/265 setup will also work with the xDrive, but will have a bit less sidewall than the 225/40 and 255/35.
