275/35/19 on a 9.5" rim?

I'm currently running 235/40/19 and 265/35/19 MPSS on my 8.5" and 9.5" wheels, and need to get new tires soon. I'm hoping to gain some traction and was thinking about moving to the Michelin PS4S. Should I stick with the same tire sizes or go bigger to 245/40/19 and 275/35/19? Or would those bigger tires look dumb on my size wheels?

is the type of traction you're seeking for straight line or turns?

since you are not x-drive i suggest 245/35/19, 265/35/19 Continental Sport Contact 6

The rear you will be okay, i have 275/40/18 and am lowered with no issues. However, 245/45/18 i had in the front was rubbing pretty badly. It was rubbing the fender as I turned my steering wheel to the max. I recently swapped them out for 235/45/18 and rubbing is gone.

The setup you currently have is the perfect setup for the f30 IMO. Upsizes from 26.0" to 26.3" all around. When my rear tires wear out, i will put on 265/40s instead in order to have the same height all around.

oh wow, I am surprised you can answer this without knowing the offset on those wheels.

I was providing the OP with the the knowledge that the size in question is indeed a workable size. And listed my experience with the sizes.

If the OP doesn't give us info on the offset, we wont know for sure what's a "workable size".

275 on a ET31 9.5 wide wheels is gonna rub without going massive negative offset. Unless you're on SUV ride height.

If its my car, I would stick to what you're running now. 275 rear with et40 is really close to rubbing unless you're willing to run more negative camber in the back.

sweet I'll stick to the 265/35 and 235/40. Are the PS4S a significant upgrade vs the PSS?

The 4s are a big improvement over the PSS, I have ran Falken RT615, Conti 2, conti 3, conti 5, conti 6, Michelin PS2, PSS, Cup 2 and 4s.

Right now on my 328d touring I am running 19x8.5 ET30 and 19x9.5 ET42 with 235/40/19 and 265/35/19 Michelin 4s. The rears are very close to rubbing with 1.3 degree of negative camber. The fronts I have more clearance because I installed the camber knuckles that gives an extra half degree of camber than the factory spec.
