Thrust Arm Brushing Worned
Hello, got back from my BMW dealership and was told that the thrust arm brushing are in bad shape. My car is at 50,500 miles and the dealer quoted me $815 for the replacement. Does anyone have experience replacing them on their own? Any info/links would be appreciate!

There are diy videos on YouTube. I did mine and it was pretty easy but I have a rwd.

I had a local indy shop quote me 4.5 hours in book labor to do the bushings or swap the arms. Labor rate in Norcal is $150-$225/hour. So if you are at $800 for both sides, that's not too bad if you don't have the tools or time.
