Anyone else? 235/45-18 and 265/40-18

Gents, doing a tire upgrade.

[EDITED] - Rims are 18 x 8.5 front and 18 x 9.5 rear ... RWD.
I'm landing on 235/45-18 front and 265/40-18 rear.

This puts the diameter at 26.3" for front and rear (versus 26" stock).
And only messes with the speedo by .3 miles.

Thinking this route as this keeps the car level and takes up a tiny bit of wheel wheel space.

Agreed?

Are you AWD or RWD?

Stock 18'' rims?

Most people do not recommend going above a 255 on a 8.5'' rim.

Thanks for reminding me about putting more info down!

I'll be running 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Thanks!

235/45/18-265/40/18 on 8.5"F-9.5"R, will be exactly as you described. slightly "beefy" and will fill the wells a bit. post some pics when you have a chance, thx.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

Thanks gents! Rims are on order, arriving end of March. I'm going this route.

I'll repost when wheels and tires are on car!

I run 235/45/18 square on 8.5 in the winter. You'll be fine. fills the wheel well nicely and provides just that extra bit of cushion.

Thanks wdeerfield! That's pretty much the answer I was looking for. .3" doesn't sound like much of a diameter increase but, you never know sometimes!

I run 235/45/18 and opted for the extra sidewall because of atrocious roads in the tristate. Feels phenomenal.

jdg52 - thank you. Was thinking that too! A LOT of weight up front and with the adaptive shocks, maybe too much travel in comfort mode.
