Hello everyone, all local (near or far) forum members, new faces, familiar faces, come on out and join us for a fun Sunday morning canyon carving session. This has been an ongoing effort with my friend Ben & I to cultivate a stronger connection with BMW as well as all car enthusiasts within the local surrounding area(s). The BMW community, especially in Ventura county, is very weak compared to our other SoCal areas and I'm trying to change that. So let's get things started, come on out, have some fun, make connections and let's keep the good times rolling.

Please note that although "Bi-Weekly" is stated, that is subject to change based upon everyone's availability. As much as I'd love to hold a meet twice a month, I understand that everyone's schedule, as do our lives, change. Please check in with me or refer to this thread for scheduled meet dates, etc. There's a Facebook group as well, PM me if you'd like to be added to it. Welcome to the ///Motivation: Official 805 Bi-Weekly/Cruise Meet thread!

The purpose of this meet is for all local enthusiasts to come together to relax, have a nice brunch and create great friendships/network. An emphasis is placed on BMW's, but enthusiasts of all car brands are welcome. Feel free to invite anyone who can follow common courtesy rules and is interested in having a good time with great company!

WHAT TYPE OF MEET (DINING, CRUISE OR BOTH?): Depending on weather circumstances or the general mood of members, the type of meet will be stated/updated. Meets can range from canyon carving + dining, eating + hanging out, or a simple cruise and feel what everyone else is up for.

WHO: All respectful, rule-abiding enthusiasts are welcome! All makes and models, bone stock to heavily modded! We are always looking forward to new faces.

WHEN: Meets will mostly be held on Sundays on a Bi-Weekly Schedule. Please keep in mind that this isn't necessarily a rigid schedule as everyone gets busy, so please contact me, refer to the Facebook group, or this thread for the most up-to-date information.

WHERE: In order to keep things fresh, locations & meet type will rotate!

RULES:
Normal meet rules apply! Please respect the property and the people within the vicinity! (No burnouts, excessive revving, etc.) Simply put, just don't act stupid or you will be asked to leave immediately. Thank you and I look forward to meeting some new faces!

My story : I found the tune and it was very good price I was doing research for like 4 days , it got weird over the days because the seller Dinan_rraated kept messaging me that I need the pay ASAP so he could ship it blah blah , and he emailed me with 3 different emails and I found that one was fake , also he used 3 different names Bob Chinns and Bryan Moffitt and Aliya Moffit , but I still proceeded to buy last night when I asked my friend to put his credit card , he did but somehow the seller told me PayPal was holding the money and it got sketch so I told him to cancel it . And also Dinan_rrated seller assured me that the warranty will be fine, but after a brief research on the forum Dinan Engineering stated that if the tune is used it will not be covered under the warranty. Do I didn’t want to buy it and also Dinan_rrated is not refunding me my 32$ . That’s the story . I’m not a scammer or anything like that I bought my Dinan Intake off the forum too which had no issues with it. But that Dinan Rated user uses 3 different emails so I felt suspicious, I have all the messages and emails from him feel free to ask me to post them, so that everyone could see how sketch he is.

Hey man I had the same horrible experience from this guy, "Amantur Sultanov" or whatever his name is, and his email sultanov311094@gmail.com. I showed him an exhaust I was selling in person, showed him how it sounded and everything...he told me he really wanted to buy it so i took it off the car the next day and of course he wasn't interested....2 weeks go by and he harasses me saying he apologizes about bailing and it was because of a tune or some bs story so he tries to reinitialize the deal with me and like the nice guy I am I give him the benefit of the doubt and i ask him repeatedly if we set a date to meet up you will not bail right because i have 3-4 buyers im telling them its sold to and he ASSURES ME it will never happen so again I take the exhaust off the car for the 2ND TIME and 1 hour before meeting up with me he tells me he can't buy it because his "friend" won't let him. Honestly this dude is a real piece of SH** and he's some russian foreign exchange student with no respect or lack of common courtesy. He asked me about 6 times if I could install the exhaust for him while i nicely told him no everytime, he would tell me he wants the downpipe, then doesnt want the downpipe the next day.

NEVER DEAL WITH THIS GUY....SELLERS WORST NIGHTMARE
