What Age groups are f30 drivers in?

I am just curious to see if I fall in the higher or lower end of f30 drivers age group.

I myself just hit the BIG 30! and I ordered a f30 335i sport in alpine white

Judging from past experience with this car, and in the US, the average age is about 41 and average salary for a 3-series owner about $140,000.

Personally, I think it's strange that people would spend about half a year's take home pay on a car, but that's America...

Is that a fact based on a C&D or BMW survey, or just an opinion?

I could see that being the case on Long Island, but not for the rest of America.

BMW, circa mid 2010, for US sales.

Unlike a Scion TC (really young), Cadillac DTS (really old), etc., the 3 series is appropriate for all ages. I had my first 3 series at 26, but some of my co-workers are in their 40s with 3 series. It's a nice car for anyone with good taste in cars, and the styling is timeless.

33 here. Special ordered my first BMW when I was 26 (e90). I've had 9 BMWs since that age, ranging from the 128i all the way up to the X5 (which my wife presently drives). My F30 (which should arrive in about 3 weeks) will be my 10th. (I know, I've got a problem.)

In the middle of all that, I "strayed" and got the new C300 MB the month it came out. I kept it for 6 months and went back to BMW.

I plan to drive the 3 series and X3 throughout my 30s, the 5 series and X5 throughout my 40s and (hopefully) the 6 and 7 series from my 50s onward (I'll probably throw a Porshce or two in here and there as well).

The 3 feels about right for my age, now. I test drove the 5 just just felt "old" (not trying to start a flame war, here). My last car was the 2011 X3, which I kept for about a year. It felt age-appropriate too (albeit a bit large for my liking).

23 here.

Just traded in my 2008 Volvo XC90 for my new 2012 BMW 328i F30 in Mineral Grey Modern Line. I posted some pictures of my new F30 here.

I also have a 1984 325e E30 that has been in my family since it first came out.
