Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting lowered springs for my 2015 330i Msport, I read that getting lowered springs can put alot of stress on your stock dampeners and I'm just wondering if lowering it 10 mm would be that bad. Also is anyone able to tell me if my car has the adaptive dampeners (it feels like it does but I don't know for certain).

Stock shocks can generally take an inch or less in lowering.
So look for that spec when doing your research.

As far as adaptive shocks, you'll have a toggle button near your shifter that says something like sport, comfort, eco. You'll also see when you tip that switch info SPORT, the main screen on your console will show "SPORT and show an image of an engine, transmission and your shocks."

You can also take your VIN and enter it onto this site...

If you have the adaptive suspension, you will see code S2VF Adaptive M Chasis

jake2106 are you looking for purely cosmetic results (lowered stance) or improved suspension behavior?

I don't have EDC but when I switch modes, it still shows the graphic with suspension highlighted. Pretty sure they didn't differentiate that screen between cars that do and don't have EDC.

How many miles on your car? A 2015 may already be close to needing new shocks anyway. Save half of the labor by doing shocks and springs at the same time.
You are RWD, correct?

I'm not seeing listings for 330i in 2015, but there are 330i springs listed for 2017 330i. Attached are Eibach and H&R spring part numbers. I suggest Koni Yellow or Bilstein B8 Shocks.

My '15 had 63k on it, the shocks weren't blown or anything but there is definitely a progressive decay in their effectiveness.

+2 on the prokit. Mild drop, probably ok with stock dampers although you are right, if you're going to do springs just do it right and overhaul. Love the prokit so far.
