Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 6's, anyone?
I need a new set of 19" tyres and have been looking around online.
Anyone running Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 6's in 19"? Verdicts would be appreciated, particularly on comfort/ride quality? Thanks

Not the answer, but if you're not coming from the G/Y 5's... I ran the 5's on the 340i F31 good tyre, liked them better than the MPS4s. Guess the 6 will be better?

I've got them fitted at the moment, have also had the Asy 5's previously, and, as alluded to above they're at least equivalent to the Michelins...possibly a bit cheaper too?

Not 19s but 18s here on my F31 and have found the to be superb over the months I had them fitted last year before fitting my 'winters with Goodyear Vector all-seasons'
I've had PS4s etc beforehand and superb tyres; but I prefer how the car rides and handles on the Assym6's - find them to be smoother/quieter and with no drone compared to the PS4s They were also £250 cheaper than the PS4s/PS5s on MyTyres and Camskill... That made them a lot of sense as well Plus they're well reviewed on tyrereviews.co.uk However I only do low miles

When I had my 340i I had the Asy 5's all around, great tyre, quite responsive, good ride, and decent tyre life as well.

I've got them in 19" on my G31 and they're excellent. Not quite the outright grip of PS4S I had on my F31, but everything else very comparable and I think they were well over £100 cheaper than any Michelin for all 4 tyres.
Probably as quiet as you'll get a tyre, excellent in the wet and dry, and much more comfortable than the goodyear run flats that the car came on, obviously! |

I'm running them at the back on my 403Ms.
Was cheaper than the AS5s I was looking at, they are very comfortable and a little bit quieter than the AS5s in my opinion.

Assymetric X and PS4/5 are great tyres but personally I'd spend the extra on the ultra HP options instead.
ContiSport 7, F1 SuperSport, Pilot SuperSport or PS4S. All are noticeably better than the Assymetric x & PSx level, especially in the wet and hard cornering. |
