Tire Sizes for 19"

I am looking at a set of wheels with the following sizes/offsets:

F: 19x9.5 +21
R: 19x10.5 +35

The car is a stock height xDrive car, so I was thinking these tires may work:

255/35/19 & 295/30/19. Saw a member was running these on his 340i that was lowered. Any thoughts?

Those wheels are too aggressive.

Can you elaborate? They were on a F30 sedan that was lowered.

The front wheels will be about 3/4" past the fender and the rear wheels at least 1/2" past the fender on stock xDrive height.

Can you share any photos with the wheels on F30?

That F30 is on coilovers and also with added negative camber both front and rear. The tires are also with a lot of stretch, 235 front and 265 rear.

Those wheels will look ridiculous on your F30 with stock xDrive height!

Those are way too aggressive for xdrive and stock height. He also has a lot smaller tires and running a few degrees of camber which gives him more clearance. I would stray away or do more homework if you really want to run those sizes. It won’t look good on stock height.

Beat me to it ^^ I think we literally have the same message

I wasn't worried about what it looked like with stock height, I was stating that I am currently stock height, and if the tires will fit without rubbing. .BMW. said they would stick out 3/4". Is that correct?

I also asked for a suggested offset/wheel size if I was to order the same wheels new? Thanks.

.BMW. is correct...at stock height and stock camber both wheels will be poking way out and the outer shoulder of the front tire will rub the fenderwell liner while turning.

if you are not lowering your car, the wheel and tire size you'll need for your x-drive as follows.

19x8.5 +36 (Face-2) with 235/40/19 up front and 19x9.5 +43 (Face-3) with 265/35/19 rear. the wheel faces will not be as concave because of less width and higher offset. i think it will still look great, though.

FYI the wheels cost around $900+ each x 4 = $3600 and will take 4-6 months after it's ordered

Thank you for the info. Coming from muscle cars where everyone just gets 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing this is a new world.
