What’s the secret to resizing pictures?

All of my pictures are too big to post, even when cropped. What am I doing wrong. this is the only forum I have had trouble posting pictures.

Garage List
Right-click the pic in file explorer, select "edit". That opens windows paint. Then select "resize" make sure "maintain aspect ratio" is checked and choose pixels instead of percentage. Put the pixel size requested by the forum and "save as" a different name. Post that resized pic!

I appreciate that, but that is way too 2000’s. I have to open a picture in Paint? Surely there is an easier way? This is the only forum I have problems posting pictures in directly from my iPad photo album.

I assumed you were using windows. My bad. Try this -

it's an app called image size, it's free and it works basically the same as windows paint.
