I heavily modded the X5, but somebody offered to buy it after owning it only 5 months, so I sold it and bought a 335i.

I definitely have it. My saving grace is that at least I don't lose a ton of money when I trade (..and more often than not I break even). Having some connections at the local dealers has saved my fanny quite a few times.

That is a good thing. Stick with new cars!

Don't be like me and restore a car and expect to make anything off it!

I'm tempted on the group buy, but want to wait another month or so to make sure this setup is indeed still good for people..

I've done H&R sports with Bilstein sports on several of my own cars (1987 325i, 2010 335i Sedan, 2008 VW GTI). I can guarantee you it will be a great setup on the F30. Every car I had it made the handling better by leaps and bounds.

I'm sure it's awesome. Rich btw - you may remember but I am running 20x8.5 front with et35 (245/35/20) and 20x10 rear with et40 (255/35/20). Will I have any issues with rubbing if go h&r sports since I'm 35 series all around?

Rich, as I understand it, the KW DDC kit has electronic adjustability options (including the capability to use a phone app to adjust settings), but does not incorporate the car's driving mode switch to operate it. Still not a bad option though...

My first choice for DHP upgrade is still the yet-to-be-released Dinan shockware with matching springs and bump stops. The guys at Dinan say they really like the stock EDC dampers, and that the results with their kit are so good that they will no longer offer upgraded dampers for cars with EDC shocks.

How much space do you have between your fender and the top of your tire currently? Is the tire outside of the fender edge at all?

You are correct sir. Brainfart. You need the iPhone app or the KW button installed inside the car.

Rich here are a few pics. Tires are not outside the edge from what I can tell.

I meant more from the side angle of the car. From the inside edge of the fender to the outside edge of the tire. Whats the distance there?

That's quite a bit of stretch. You shouldn't rub if you keep your current tires with stretch but you will most likely rub a bit if you had 275 30 20 FK453. HR sport is pretty mild so you should be fine.

Nice shoes btw!

Love the wingtips!

I think you'll be okay, the lowering will tuck them slightly. You may need to adjust the camber slightly, but nothing too extreme.

RWD. It's been perfect so far. I drove a No Line 328d last week. Not be a snob but the suspension on the "d" was even more lacking than mine was. Even more reason to go with the Bilstein / H&R combo!

Would you consider the H&R/Bilstein combo as stiff as the MPS (..assuming you have experience with the MPS)?

No experience with the MPS. From what I've read on this forum MPS is near perfection. But it's probably 3 times what I spent and I'm pretty happy!
