Rim choice
I have a 2017 330i Xdrive... stock height, may go with H&R eventually but stock for now. Will 19x8.5 127 CSL style rim with an ET 37 fit with no problems. I tried 220Ms before but were too aggessive. I don't want to ruin the ride.
Stock Rims 407's & tires are 19x8 ET 36 / 225 40 19 19x8.5 ET 47 / 255 35 19 The tires on the CSL are 19x8.5 ET 37 / 235 35 19 19x8.5 ET 37 / 265 30 19 Below is fitment from willitfit.com Last edited by NOSAJF30; 03-10-2021 at 11:42 PM.. |

If you like the CSL wheels fit then choose it. With the current tires.... It will look small with bigger fender gap. And with less side wall more harsher ride.
What you can do is get the proper 19" tires 235/40 and 265/35. Just little bit bigger...will fill the fender gap just a bit. And your ride will not be harsh. |

You can force a low profile 265 on 8.5", apparently the seller already has, but 255 is max recommended width for 8.5".
If CSL, I'd get 235/40/19 square. Best for xdrive and fully rotatable. Taller sidewall provides more comfort and impact protection while improving appearance by reducing unsightly x-drive wheel gap. You can also run 255/35/19 square. more grip, less vertical gap fill but more lateral gap fill. Eibach pro kit rwd springs, better ride and rake than h&r, though not as low. .
