Hi fam,

I have 2012 320i F30 and I was wondering if I can make it sound better in terms of exhaust sound? I know it's sad engine but why not. I'm looking for a easier and cheaper option

Also speakers in my car makes rattling and vibrating noise on mild base and phone calls (They're 7 years old already). I want to replace them but BMW quoted $650 for 4 door speakers

Anyone know of any other option? Just want to replace them, I won't mind similar quality to stock ones! I have base audio and I can replace them by myself.

You can install a Catless downpipe. VRS downpipe or Wagner downpipe will make your car sound different.

To replace the speakers. why dont you contact the wreckers?. you can try ASV Euro Car Parts. they have heaps of BMW used parts for cheap price.

To install the downpipe and speakers, I recommend Jin from Eastern BM in Bayswater.

When you say exhaust sound, do you mean inside the car or outside?

If the sound is just for you you may be able to code it.

Just do a res and muffler delete but I'm assuming it will drone as a mofo. Probably the cheapest option.

I suspect ASD was not specced on 2012 - might be wrong.

But I do think it is the best answer. I broke mine (long story, not BMW fault) and the car sounded like a sewing machine. Pretty effective....

I contacted one wrecker before, he said we don't test speakers they might me as bad as you have in your car. I will try at one you mentioned.

Eastern BM is close to me as well, will call them for a quote for downpipe. Do you have any estimate what it costs in total to get downpipe installed? Speakers I can do by myself.

Just for outside, about speakers just want to change them as they're making rattling noise. Don't want to go deep with amp and speakers for better sound quality.
