Just got back from my dealer where I talked to my CA about ordering a new 340 - they have the ordering guides and prices, but no color charts yet or other literature. He said that they would order one for me for about $2K off MSRP. Have not pulled the trigger yet, but that got me thinking about invoice prices and did not think I had seen any posted yet for the 3 LCI. Are they available anywhere?

Thanks to both of you - perhaps since Weaselboy is in the market for a 340i quickly - he would know if "Concierge Services" are listed elsewhere - they are not on the May 26 Pricing Guide - however, the 2015 "build your own" lists them under " Convenience Options" Any thoughts?
Second quick question - any "advantages" in checking off the "Luxury Package" box for a 340i (No Charge) - looks like you lose a couple of things more than you pick up (3L8 and 7AC)?

You're losing the sport line and matte chrome exterior bits, which makes sense since the Luxury package is replacing them with the Luxury Line aesthetics with shiny chrome.

Concierge Services really just uses the GPS and Assist phone built into the car to call the service and they handle your request over the phone call, so I don't see any reason it would not still be offered in the 2016 since all the hardware is still there. It is odd it is not called out in the guide though.

I have not seen the info anywhere, but you can multiply the MSRP times .93 and get within $100 bucks or less of the invoice on a 3-series.

Or you can just agree to buy it for invoice plus X and agree now on what X is.

Thanks. I think I may have seen this formula somewhere before, but could not recall it. Appreciate the reminder.

The figure you used depends on if you are including or excluding destination.

Sorry disregard. I'm looking at the wrong calcs!

Since its been awhile (2009) when my wife last ordered a 3 Series ....if I'm reading correctly, the Sport Line Dakota leather in black comes with red accent stitching and strips of leather. The only way to "avoid" is going to the Luxury Line (short of going to the M Sport Package) which has "exclusive" dark oyster stitching (no matching strips of leather). If this is the case....since she wants brushed aluminum trim - under Options in the pricing guide - she'd check off 4FT. Would appreciate confirmation that I've got this right

I just placed my order a few minutes ago for a 340i M-Sport package. It is scheduled for week 29 (July 13) production. Now I wait.

I wonder if there will be a M performance exhaust available as an option?

We agreed on $1,000 off MSRP for now, and we'll revisit as we start to see what the market is like for these first allocations. So if I start seeing all you guys with say $2,000 off deals, he'll match that.

I have been working with the same CA for 15 years and he'll always match or beat whatever deals are out there. He just took my order over the phone with no deposit like usual.

This was his only 340i allocation, so I think these are going to command higher prices for a bit.

Just talked to my CA after having received a 6-month pull ahead offer from the dealer today in my inbox.

He said he has an order slot I can use for a 340, but won't delve into details unless I go see him at the dealer. He did say I could "lock" in the pull-ahead today so that by the time the car is delivered (assume August), the 5 remaining payments would be waived.

I am not looking for a heavily optioned car - Alpine White, Saddle Brown (assuming the rumors I'm hearing about its availability on M-Sport are correct), M-Sport). Really nothing else, although I am trying to ensure the M-Sport comes with the paddle shifters (I didn't see it listed on the order guide as a separate option).

I might go pay him a visit, but I'm starting to wonder if it would be more economical to take a 2015 335 since the current residuals are so favorable and I'm confident I can get for invoice + ~$1,000. I doubt the 2016 residuals will be nearly as attractive (not even sure when I'd be able to lock that it) and due to the LCI I assume demand will be such that 'deals' won't be as great on the 340 vs. a 2015 335.

I love the art of the negotiation, but as a Type A, I always overthink these scenarios until I end up not even proceeding....

I'm in a similar situation with my lease expiring at the end of August and went with the 340i. Like you said, the pricing won't be as good as existing 2015 models, but the 2016 I configured with all the options added in came out to about $1,300 less MSRP than a similarly equipped 2015, so that cushioned some of the blow.

I will be turning in a 2014 335i and a 2015 would essentially be the same car. Plus some of the new features and the new engine in the 2016 interest me.

The sport auto with paddles is included as standard equipment on the 340i. You can see it here on the ordering guide.

It is in the post just above yours there. $1,000 off MSRP, or about $3,000 over invoice is the way it works out.

I'm hoping the lease rates are favorable when they come out.

Any idea when production numbers are expected?

Trying to set up an ED for F31 328xi. The CA just came back and said ZMP can't be combined with ZTR. This is clearly allowed by the ordering guide (there's even a separate price for ZTR when ZMP is also there), but the CA says he's confirmed the problem with ED department in Germany.

Anyone else has encountered anything like this? Suggestions on how to deal with the problem?

I was going to just do ZMP, the SS tires and wheels are a no charge option according to the guide. Its weird that the M Brakes and VSS aren't individual options.

True that the SS tires and wheels are a no charge option on the guide, but the guide also states that "ZMP and 23N [the SS tires and wheels] requires ordering ZTR" which implies further that there may be some miscommunication somewhere along the line.

It also stinks that Mediterranean Blue can't be ordered with ZMP.
