Low coolant warning

Hello,I have a question. I got the low coolant warning. I checked under the hood. There are 2 coolant caps. I checked the larger one and it is low. I checked the smaller one and it is at the max. So I am confused. Thanks.
I did a search and I found the answer. My main coolant is low.

Same thing happened to me today but my large tank was full and 8 didn't look at the second one. Another poster stated it could be due to low temperature outside. I'll check the smaller tank tomorrow but as soon as my car warmed up the warning went away.
