"Normal " car and bumps

Being a passenger today in the wife's car, I had forgotten what going over bumps and small pot holes is like in a car with small wheels, normal profile non RT tyres and not sporty at all. Relaxing is the word I would use!

Initially I tensed and winced as normal as we went over the knackered road but no big thump or bang just a mild vibration. I obviously still prefer a nice handling big wheeled 3er but still made a nice change!

Similarly, the difference in ride quailty of 18" with MPSS (in my new car) versus 19" with runflats (in my previous car) is like night v day. What used to be a crash (and have I buckled my alloy moment?!) is now simply a bump (and bear in mind, my previous car had X-drive, so softer suspension!)

My missus drives an E92 Sport Plus with the 225/35 and 255/30 RFT 19s.

They make cats eyes feel like housebricks.

My 225/40, 255/35 RFTs and adapative suspension are like a magic carpet in comparison.
