Coding cable and ESYS, psdzdata

shawnsheridan & Fus10nv2 Thank you for your suggestions. I am using a laptop that I don't want to mess around with the dates. So, for now, I went with E-Sys 3.27 and E-Sys Launcher PRO 2.8.2, fully understanding that is has limited validity.

What exactly do you mean, as you can code and flash DME with E-Sys same as you can any other ECU.

E-Sys is not Tuning software itself. You can write modified firmware files (BTLD and SWFL) to DME/DDE with E-Sys, although besides using other software to edit them, I am not sure how the signature / validation is maintained or the validation check bypassed.

It took a bit faffing around, but eventually I managed to get everything working using the following setup:

E-Sys Launcher Premium V2.8.2.155
E-Sys V3.27.1
v.4.19.21_PSdZData_Lite
Rearm 204

but... even with the latest PSdZData_Lite, I keep getting [C012] error when trying to read CAFD for DSC (on F22):

DSC [29] [VXXXXXX]
readCPS o.k.
CAFD_000019CC_100_125_001 Fehler:
File for "cafd_000019cc-100_125_001" not found! [C012]

Other modules read fine and I also have the latest PSdZData_Lite. The istep on the car is: F020-16-03-504. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a different PSdZData? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

*UPDATE* Nevermind; It was currupted PSdZData files - copied them again and it worked like a charm!

Sorry, old versions are not maintained. You can use latest PSdZData version. You do not need to reply on older 18-03 to load .bin files via USB. There are newer ENET solutions.

Hi shawnsheridan ! I'm new to this forum and BMW coding, so far I've been able to use the ENET + ESYS 3.33 and psdzdata files from older posts to connect to my F30 335i. However I can't read/write any data for HU_NBT. I'm assuming I need some token, but I haven't been successful in this process. Is there an older post or walkthrough that you can direct me to?

Try updating your psdzdata to latest v.4.19.30. You also need to be using E-Sys Launcher for your Token Solution. PM sent.

I’m new at this,bought a 6wb cluster for my f30 and installed my self,but still need to use E-sys to code car to accept it (was told cluster was preprogrammed by my vin# when I bought it) I have a laptop and e-cable, guy from Europe was suppose to remotely take control of my laptop to code my car,he said I needed “PSDZ” still waiting on him to do this for me,was wondering if this is something I could do my self as cluster only shows mph and color/scheme change for modes, but gas gage and hud isn’t working along with rpm,temp,gear,etc plus a lot of warning messages in German. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really don’t know what I’m doing and don’t want to mess up my car.
