EBay brake caliper covers

Looking to spruce up my stock grey Bremdo calipers on my F30. I was thinking of painting them but came across these on EBay.

Looking to see if anyone has used these and if so, what their opinion of them is. They come in black, yellow, blue, and red and have the M logo on them and the price is right.

Do it right or don't do it at all.. Does shit will melt under hard braking condition.. Please save yourself problem in the future by doing it right..

They all look terrible in person imo. Just paint your calipers and they'll look better.

made of "high quality plastic".

I'd be worried about the mess in the more than certain case that it didn't work out.

Just paint it..... powder is a hassle, you have to take off the brakes. No one will see if you miss something.

Haha ok ok that's why I asked. Seems to be a pretty universal opinion. Thanks for the input everyone.

Now, any idea if the calipers can be PC while still on the vehicle? Otherwise I'd have to buy a set of the grey 340's I believe, have a shop PC them, and then swap them onto my car. I don't have the luxury of having my car sitting up on jack stands or a lift (taking them off) while they're getting done. This probably varies shop to shop I figure.

You cannot powder coat them while on the vehicle

Yea you gotta take it off.. Remove the piston and the boot to spray and bake it in the oven

Those will melt, break off, and get stuck somewhere and cause damage to other parts.

Just paint them.

Sand + high Heat primer + High Heat Paint + High Heat Clear

Alright, paint it is! Can anyone recommend a brake paint caliper kit they've used that they liked and is of good quality? I'd like to get them painted either red or the blue that the standard M-sport brakes come in. My car is black. Also, anyone know where to get the M decal? Ebay? Thanks!
