Temporarily (as in days) removing front seat

I think it's a quick question,

Can I remove the passenger seat for a few days and have the car run without errors?

I'm not sure if this wold throw safety errors, make the car in operable, etc.

Does it need to be programmed, or just (paraphrasing the correct procedure) unplug battery, remove seat, plug battery back in?

Thanks!

Garage List
Believe you'll get an airbag warning light from the seat

I've done it. However, your sequence leaves out 're-install seat' before re-connecting the battery. All I've had to do afterwards is to reset the clock. Give it a while and it will reset itself if you have nav.

Well, that's kinda what I was aiming at. Using the car without the passenger seat for a couple days. Then yes, re-install it.

I've cleared the airbag warnings before, so as long as it's just that, and not immobilizing the car, that works.

That would cause codes to be thrown, and it could cause some systems to be limited, but it shouldn't immobilize the car.
