Bimmercode tips
Hi all
Tried doing a search but couldn't find anything but is there any thread or cheat shear available with some of the top things to code via Bimmercode? Would be good to see what other people have done and get some ideas as to what could be useful Thanks in advance |

All available coding options for your car are available on the BimmerCode website. I suggest you start there.

By and large if it's in the E-Sys cheat sheet it can be done with Bimmercode. Some changes you have to use expert mode for, but not all by any means. What Bimmercode has been doing a lot of lately is consolidating multiple CAFD operations into a single click. For instance, coding for LED in E-Sys entails individual coding off the warm and cold checks and coding the bulb choice to LED. You used to have to do the same in Bimmercode, but now Bimmercode does all three at once.

Hi All, recently bought 2017 F36 (4-series GC) and I'm looking to enable Screen Mirroring via BimmerCode. I have the wide (larger screen) and ID5 N-version software. I spent a few days reading through the forums, but couldn't find exact guidance on what and where would I need to code in order to have Screen Mirroring option enabled on my NBT EVO HU. I found the below that need enabling, but it doesn't mention in which unit, e.g. Front Electronic Module or Head Unit or wherever else to find them:
NBT_EVO2: ENT_MIRACAST -> aktiv ENT_MC_WLAN_STREAM_DMP -> aktiv ENT_MIRACAST_DISPLAY_SETTINGS -> aktiv WLAN_WIFI_DIRECT -> aktiv WLAN_STATUS -> aktiv I assume they will be also in Expert Mode for coding, not the standard? Anybody who managed to do the Screen Mirroring option enabled via BimmerCode - could you please share and advise easiest/safest way to achieve this? Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance! My favorite coding was the gear position indicator in my manual. It always told me to go up to a gear, but never the one I was in...useful to know from looking and not 'feeling' sometimes.
Also, I extended how long my backup camera stays on so I could see while backing out my driveway--it turned off too soon before.
