man it gets up quick a hole new beast...
you know just jumping down the modding rabbit hole.. next is 2 cooling mods adding another aux rad and trans cooler then going pure850 .. dorch stg 2 .. custom tune obviously

what LSD setup are you going with? I'm still alittle confused as to what options I have for an LSD as a 6speed 340i xdrive... other than just going with the diffsonline option.

Be careful the first few hundred miles as you relearn the driving dynamics. I almost put my car in a ditch immediately after installing the LSD. Only time I rotated the car 180 degrees on accident.

Turner claims that this MP LSD fits a 340i XDrive but they don’t specify automatic or manual transmission which typically have different final drive ratios.

I have an MP LSD on my car and I highly recommend it. GetBMWParts website is a great source to find out if there is an M Performance LSD for your model car..

The part number in that link, 33108659988, is for a manual transmission 3.23 rear end, not a 2.81 automatic rear end

Lsd feels solid .. still breaking it in ... only problem is the tech i guess either broke the sensor for vertical aim control Headlamp or didnt reinstall it right cause now i have a fault.

he said u have to disconnect the arms or somthing its down there left rear next to axle, im gonna check today

Update: Tech forgot to disconnect battery .. he disconnected the sensor , and headlamp sensitive when he unplugged it, it shorted out. New one in this week while bat disconnected .. everything good no more fault ***

Unfortunately the x-drive cars use smaller axles, so the mperformance lsd will not work. But you can use more conventional kits that asseble inside the pumpkin like wavetrac and quaife.

Isn't there two or 3 guys running that diff on the xdrive? The paperwork says it doesn't fit, but with a little spacer it fits. There's a thread or two on it

Gotcha... so basically diffsonline.

Sometimes, It's easier to sell the wife on an OEM upgrade from a BMW parts store than ordering a diff online. This one might take some convincing lol.

i've seen people run aftermarket units built into their stock diff. otherwise you need to swap axles.
