Blown rear speaker on HK system

Where's the best place to buy a replacement speaker? Is it worth an upgrade I doubt? Thanks!

Junkyard, but make sure it's the same. You don't want to put in one speaker that's not the same as the rest.

eBay or ive noticed turners has them 40% off rt now for 56 brand new. 😎 Going that route.

What would be the reason you wouldn't want to put one different to the rest? My speaker on the right door was rattling so I replaced it with one from eBay and now I have no sound from my right door? Not even the tweeter works. I connected the old speaker and no sound either

You wouldn't put a different tire from all the rest on one wheel, and for the same reason you shouldn't put one different speaker in one door. You'll probably have to get your amp tested by a qualified sound shop.

check out ebay. I too had a similar problem and was able to get the parts readily cheap and install the speaker myself. Here are the speakers in ebay for your car:

Check out Aliexpress too and compare prices. There are many sellers offering genuine parts for 20$ or less. Parts sourced at a junkyard are a lottery: they could last till you retire the vehicle, or a few months down the line.

At AliExpress you're more likely to get a knockoff than the real thing. That applies to everything, not just speakers. I do buy items there, but never anything that claims to be OEM.
