Estoril Blue 6-speed 2016 340i Xdrive – 47K – $25,000
(UPDATED 5/6/20) PENDING SALE 5/7/20 SOLD A rare chance to own one of the last non-M 3-series with a manual transmission, navigation-delete with the classic BMW analog display, none of which are available anymore on the 2019+ BMW 3-series. Coveted B58 3-liter turbocharged straight-six engine BMW has won Ward's 10 Best Engines with in the last four out of five years and with the 340i in 2016. The engine is bone stock, but according to dyno sheets out there the 340i puts out about closer to 370 hp/380 torque at the crank. BMW usually underrates stock power numbers (320 hp/330 torque). Taken off the market when the Corona virus first hit the northeast, now back for sale at just over 47,700 miles. Mileage will not increase significantly as it is not driven daily anymore. New asking price is $25,000 which includes all the options listed below. Current KBB Private Party Value without the extras ranges from $22,300 (fair) to $26,200 (excellent): https://www.kbb.com/bmw/3-series/201...e|7375132|true . No factory or extended warranty remains and the sale is as is. The car comes equiped with the M Sport, Cold Weather, Driver Assistance Packages, the desirable Adaptive M Suspension, side and rear sunshades, a spare tire kit, a hidden hitch, an extra set of wheels and more. The car does not have the Driver Assistance Plus, Lightning, Technology and Track Handling Packages. All the standard and optional features of the 2016 F30 can be found here: https://www.bimmerfest.com/pdf/bmw-p...cing-Guide.pdf Recent repairs include NVLD wiring repair and a new rear license plate bracket. The old one had to be drilled out causing some paint chips. They have been touched up and are out of sight underneath the bracket (see flickr albums for pictures and invoice). More pictures here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmLcd5Ys Repair & maintenance records and receipts: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmLcc7zE The car is located in Mansfield, Connecticut. We have been working from home and schools have been out since early March and have not had direct contact with anyone since. Mansfield has 22 confirmed cases of Covid-19 as of 5/6/20: https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/Corona...2020.pdf?la=en. For serious buyers the car will be available for viewing and for a test drive, taking proper precautions such as keeping physical distance, face masks, protective gloves and cleaning the interior with disinfectant. A live (driving) video can be arranged for, as well as a PPI at the prospective buyer's cost at a nearby garage or BMW dealer. The winter wheel set has been cleaned, is wrapped in tire totes and will comfortably fit in the car with the rear seats down. Shipping the car will be at the cost of the buyer. Actual sale can take place by wire transfer or at your or my bank area branch by appointment. Recent pictures with the 403M wheels with summer tires: ORIGINAL POST: -------------------------------------------------------------------- For sale is this BMW 340i Xdrive with 6-speed rev-matching manual, just north of 47,000 miles and slowly increasing as it is a daily driver. Ordered to personal specifications and picked up at the factory in Munich, Germany on 12/18/15 through European Delivery and then stateside through Performance Center Delivery in Spartanburg, SC. This BMW F30 LCI has the award-winning B58 3-liter inline-6 engine and the sought-after M Adaptive Suspension option. Garaged, hand-washed and dealer maintained. Asking price of $27,500 is as-is and includes an Invisihitch, a set of staggered OEM 403M wheels with summer tires, a spare tire kit, roof bars and all of the following: The bad (see pictures, except rock chips): Scuff on driver's seat retractable thigh support upholstery. All wheels straight, but none pristine. Two 400M wheels have significant curb rash; minor curbing on two 403M wheels. Touch-up driver's side front bumper. Small scratches driver's side rear bumper near wheel. 1¼” paint damage rear bumper near license plate. Couple of rock chips on the hood and the windshield; not enough for me to replace the windshield, but will replace through insurance if prospective buyer so desires. Repairs: Rear bumper replaced, May 2016 (Wagner Certified Collision Center, Worcester, MA) Rear bumper repaired and repainted June 2017 (Johnson Auto Body, Tolland, CT) Alarm wiring harness repaired, August 2017 (New Country BMW, Hartford, CT) Rear differential seals replaced, December 2019 (New Country BMW, Hartford, CT) Coolant reservoir caps replaced in April 2018 and December 2019. April 2016 On road trip home after picking the car up at the BMW Performance Center a friend I was staying over at told me to “Park your car in my garage because it is too nice to park on the street!”. The next morning he forgot all about it and backed his car into his spot without looking. Hole in the rear bumper. My friend paid out of pocket. June 2017 In the driveway of a friend another friend backed into the rear bumper. Minor damage paid out of pocket. August 2017 A rodent made a home above the driver's side rear wheelwell while parked at the airport and damaged the alarm wiring harness. Repaired by BMW. September 2017 The driver scraped another car with the driver's side front and rear bumper while parking. Damage detailed. August 2019 While carrying a loaded bike rack the driver ignored the ample warnings of the park distance control and backed into a parking garage pillar. Unrepaired. The only recurring issue (as documented here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1324221 ) with the B58 engine appears to be slow coolant evaporation through the reservoir caps. The main cap was replaced twice by the dealer and the secondary once, last in December 2019. Reason for putting it up for sale is an occasional desire for automotive change. Limited to three covered parking spaces and the two other cars taking up space are non-depreciating assets. Will consider a trade (+cash) for a 2018 or 2019 VW Golf R (manual or DSG). I cannot say enough how much I respect when a car enthusiast prepares the car for the next owner with outmost care and diligence. This stuff makes the world go around just a little better.

10000000%, people will look at mileage, options, this/that, but you cannot replace someone actually caring for the machine and doing the right things to keep it great.

Thanks! Still prefer my phone over most any in-car navigation system so when ordering to spec we debated getting the tech package for the HUD and potential resale value . The tech package would have put us over 50K sales price and a higher sales tax bracket here in CT. It would essentially have cost over $3,000 so decided against it.

It does not. Of the THP it has adaptive m suspension as a stand-along option, but not m sport brakes and variable sport steering.
